Who doesn’t like potatoes? There are so many different snacks and dishes that can be prepared using potatoes. This snack is a recipe by one of members from a food group I have joined. It is quick and easy with nice flavors.
Ingredients:
- 2 boiled potatoes
- 2-3 tbsps of grated processed cheese ( i used Mozerella)
- 6-7 cloves of garlic
- 1 green chilli
- 1 onion chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp bread crumb
Directions:
In a bowl, mash the boil potatoes and set aside. Add the shredded cabbage, cheese, oregano, salt, and bread crumbs. Now in a frying pan, add olive oil then to that oil add 3-4 crushed garlic cloves. Stir for a minute and then mix in the cabbage, onion and green chilli. Sauté for a couple of minutes and then take this mixture and add to the bowl with potatoes. Mix well with your hand to get all the flavors.
Make small balls and set it in a plate. These can be deep fried, shallow fried or made in Paniyaram pan. I made these in the Paniyaram pan so that they are healthy and only a few drops oil was used.
Serve hot with ready made sweet and sour sauce, which you can get a Chinese store or a regular grocery store.
