Guacamole is an avocado based sauce which is used in modern Mexican dishes. It is also used as a dip with tortilla chips as a party snack. This dip is so refreshing, love the flavors of cilantro and lime along with some heat.
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe Avocados halved, pitted and cubed
- 1 small red onion, chopped
- Jalopeno finely cut
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/8 tsp of red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- salt to taste
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Directions:
Cut the avocados into small cubes and put in the mixing bowl.
Using a fork, mash the avocados. Now chop all the other ingredients, which is jalopeno, onion, cilantro and add it to the mixing bowl. Add salt, black pepper, lime juice and red chilli flakes and mix well.
Serve chilled with tortilla chips as a party snack or use it in Mexican dishes as a condiment.

I absolutely love this one!!! Anytime and everytime… As a spread, as a topping of savory tarts or a condiment 🙂 Super duper post… I add a pinch of cumin powder (and no black pepper) for an Indian touch 😉
Thanks Shruti….I will try cumin next time….
