Sandwiches are an easy way to have something quick and light. There are so many different sandwiches you can make. Some may take an extra few minutes and some are very quick and simple. The other day I made paneer ki bhurji and after eating it once, no one wanted to have it again. I am like what can I do so I can use the left overs.
My daughter comes from school and goes what can I eat. So I was like wash you hands and sit, I will fix something for you. I decided to use the paneer sabzi to make sandwiches which were healthy and a great snack.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup paneer ki bhurji (used left overs)
- 4-6 slices of brown or white bread
- 1 tbsp butter
Directions:
On a slice of bread, add about 2 tablespoons of paneer ki bhurji. Spread it evenly, then place another slice on top of the bread. You can add whatever you like, may be a slice of tomato, some tangy chutney in between too.
Using a butter knife spread the butter on both outer sides of the bread. Place the griddle on medium heat. Now put it on the hot griddle with grids or flat.
After a 3-4 minutes, flip the side and let it cook on the other sides. If needed you can put a little more butter, its your preference.
Once both sides are done, cut it in half diagonally or straight as you like.
Serve it hot with either ketchup, mint chutney or any other sauce you like. I have made one for my daughter using the white bread.
Enjoy this healthy and filling snack which is made with leftovers or you make these specially for lunch to keep light and easy.
